Kahotea House also has another specialty, a just ‘bride and groom’ wedding. Come to beautiful New Zealand, marry at Kahotea House, then spend your honeymoon touring our amazing country. We provide all you need, just bring the wedding gown and the groom’s outfit and let us arrange everything else for you. Celebrant, photographer, videographer, florist, cake, witnesses and documentation.

There are some beautiful places for a wedding ceremony either among our roses in our garden or on the lake shore with the sacred peaks of the central north island mountains as a backdrop for your photographs. You can marry on the snow on those magical peaks. At Kahotea House we will spoil and pamper you. We can also arrange for a dual massage in the quiet ambience of your room in Kahotea House and make your special day perfect.

Wedding Essentials will find the location of your choice and design a package especially for you. No wedding is ever the same as another, as each individual has specific ideas on how their ceremony and the venue should be. It is the stuff of dreams. Wedding Essentials will do all they can to make your dreams come true.

We will arrange:

• Documentation
• Courier of Marriage and Apostille Certificates to your home country address.
• The Celebrant (civil celebrant or priest/minister.)
• Photography - A professional photographer or you can choose to have an expert use your digital camera, the disc is yours to take with you.
• Bridal transport if required.
• Flowers (you choose what type of flowers and their colour.)
• Cake with complimentary wine.
• Wedding luncheon or dinner depending on the time of day you choose to have your ceremony.
